Writer to Writer: Conversations on Craft & Featured Readings series pairs writers together to read from their work and to discuss all aspects of being a working writer. These live virtual events are a window into a writer's life and also provide access to, and a platform for, diverse voices and writing talent across genres. Conversations may touch on craft, literary friendship, publishing, sustaining a writing practice, and more.

Kerrin McCadden is the author of American Wake (Black Sparrow Press, March, 2021) and Landscape with Plywood Silhouettes, winner of the Vermont Book Award and the New Issues Poetry Prize, and a chapbook, Keep This to Yourself, winner of the Button Poetry Prize. She is the recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Vermont Studio Center, as well as the Sustainable Arts Foundation Writing Award. She lives in South Burlington, Vermont.

Matthew Lippman’s collection MESMERIZINGLY SADLY BEAUTIFUL won the 2018 Levis Prize and is published by Four Way Books. He has published 5 other collections of poems including, The New Year of Yellow (winner of Kathryn A. Morton Prize, Sarabande Books), Salami Jew, American Chew (winner of Burnside Books Prize), Monkey Bars, and A Little Gut Magic. He is the Editor and Founder of the web-based project Love’s Executive Order (www.lovesexecutiveorder.com).
