Charlotte Congregational Church Ash Wednesday Service
2/17 @ 11am and 6pm (Zoom and YouTube Live)
In the Christian tradition, the season of Lent (LENgThening of days) begins on Ash Wednesday and culminates with a celebration of Christ's resurrection at sunrise on Easter Sunday.
Join us on Ash Wednesday, 2/17 at either 11am or 6pm for a brief prayer service by Zoom and/or YouTube Live (recorded service will be available to watch anytime after 11am - login info below). This service will include a time to mark your forehead with ashes as a sign of your mortality. As we say, "you are dust and to dust you shall return."
Ashes are available on the exterior door of the office building located next to the church at 403 Church Hill Rd. You can also email Pastor Kevin Goldenbogen at rev.kemg@gmail.com to arrange alternate pickup or delivery.
