Join us on Sunday, February 28, at 3 pm, for a virtual book discussion of The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. This book was chosen by the Vermont Humanities Council as the 2020 Vermont Reads book, extended to June 2021. Our discussion will be facilitated by Catherine Brooks, former director of the Rokeby Museum and a trained facilitator with the Vermont Humanities Council.

About the book: "Mississippi writer Angie Thomas' debut novel, The Hate U Give, runs headlong into the challenges faced by young black kids in a world that doesn't value their bodies or respect their voices.
