Dear Neighbors,
In better times I would be inviting you over to our house for a party to get to know one of my favorite humans...who just happens to be running for mayor. I am so proud and excited to vote for Ali Dieng, a friend and colleague that I've known for five years. I met Ali through the Vermont Leadership Institute where I was impressed by his passion for moving good ideas into action and for creating spaces where community can grow. Shortly after working together, we moved to this neighborhood and got to know his wife Angela and their awesome kids. Ali is kind, intelligent, and dedicated to our city. I rarely talk openly about my political opinions but this one matters a lot to me. If you haven't had the chance to meet Ali yet, please join us Wednesday night for a light-hearted poll party on zoom where you'll have the chance to hear more about him and to ask any questions you have before the vote.
