How do we learn Conflict Perspectives? What is our story and what emotional triggers affect our conflict behaviors and practices? John has negotiated several thousand cases to resolution and successfully mediated civil cases in Vermont. He uses storytelling techniques to work through how we handle conflict socially and personally. This talk is ideal for parents, partners, coworkers, or anyone who has questions about interpersonal conflict and coping mechanisms.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A.

About the speaker:
John Schraven is an expert negotiator and raconteur. He uses stories to illustrate conflict perspectives and to help identify the emotional triggers that make conflict difficult to navigate. Learning to identify our unique emotional triggers is the foundation of negotiation and conflict resolution. He has negotiated civil cases for over thirty years and has been a featured presenter for legal education courses, business groups and medical associations throughout New England. John offers negotiation consultation and negotiation educational seminars.
