This Saturday, Albany volunteers will share a "heat and serve meal"; once again courtesy of the Everyone Eats! Program. The menu is Cider braised Pork Shoulder, Local Butternut Squash and Apples over Citrus Slaw prepared with love by Caja Madera Taco Truck.
Our Community Meal happens simultaneously with our weekly Albany Neighbors' food share; as always, everyone is welcome, but please sign up to reserve a meal.
Come pick it up this Saturday, February 13th between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM at the Albany Town Hall. If you live in Albany or Irasburg and need home delivery, say so on the form, and we will bring it to you.
To sign up for this week's Community Meal call 323-1517 or fill out our form at https://tinyurl.com/EveryoneEatsAlbany
To sign up for the food share, call 323-1517 or fill out our form: https://tinyurl.com/AlbanyNeighborsAugust1
We usually have eggs, dairy, produce, bread, meat, dry goods, and canned goods available for pick up or delivery.
When you come, please wear a face mask and keep a 6-foot distance. Free, handmade, layered pocket face masks are available at the food share or the Albany Little Free Libraries thanks to a local teenager's homeschool project.
The Albany Food Share has now joined forces with the Hardwick Area Food Pantry, but it is still staffed by the same Albany Neighbors Task Force volunteers.
Be well, and stay safe!
