Permaculture Lifestyle. Friday, Feb. 12, 5 to 6:30pm with Kathy Kingston
"I have been growing food for my family for the past 28 years using the principles of Permaculture: For me this means I try to be an observer, I never till the soil, I mulch, I grow a lot of perennials, and I frequently let plants grow where they choose to grow. We built our current home/farm upon earth that was forest and field returning to forest. I will share the process by which I designed the layout of the buildings, pastures, gardens and orchards. I'll spend more time on what I have learned about growing and caring for vegetables, fruits, and animals: including goats and chickens, for the past 15 years on this hillside and valley at the headwaters of East Putney Brook." The program will be recorded.
