The next Groton community snowshoe outing of the season will be this Saturday, February 13th at Seyon Lodge State Park. If you can join us, please plan to meet in the Seyon Lodge parking lot no later than 3pm.
Our route on the Seyon trail system will be 2 miles roundtrip and involve approximately 180 feet in total elevation gain. It should take us around 1 hour and 10 minutes to complete once we get going.
This event is sponsored by the Groton Recreation Committee and free to all participants (from all towns).
Two important items:
1. Sign up for our snowshoeing mail list to hear of future activities AND any cancellations due to weather, etc.: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScTzb5LJv-z5yDSDPvINjQRvhP6Z4v18nRtxb00ZX6Zdun3Dg/viewform
2. We'll be continuing to adhere to the Jan. 5th update of the "Be Smart, Stay Safe Order in VT" (https://apps.health.vermont.gov/COVID/faq/#be-smart-stay-safe-order). Please plan to bring a mask and wear it at all times, while staying at least 6 feet away from people you don't live with.
We hope to see you on Saturday!
