The Castleton Community Center will be starting a new Great Courses class Monday February 8 at 1pm entitled England, the 60s, and the Triumph of the Beatles. The course begins with a 30 minute video by instructor, Michael Sheldon of Indiana State University. He will talk about how the Beatles began their musical careers in a northern English seaport and rose from obscurity to become a transformative force in worldwide music, culture, and society. Following the video, facilitator Scott Lobdell will coordinate a discussion among participants. The program will be available via ZOOM.
