Chekwube Danladi is the author of Semiotics (Georgia, 2020), winner of the Cave Canem Poetry Prize. Her chapbook, Take Me Back, was included in the New-Generation African Poets: Nne box set. She has received fellowships and support from Callaloo, Kimbilio, the Lambda Literary Foundation, Hedgebrook, Vermont Studio Center, and the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing. From Lagos by way of West Baltimore, she is currently based in Chicago, where she teaches writing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
