Due to the amazing amount of fresh snow, Winooski Recreation and Parks are launching our Winter Art Walk THIS SUNDAY!
From 12 – 4 PM, local snow artists will have their masterpieces on display throughout Winooski. These snow artists have been planning and working hard on their creations to help bring some winter cheer to the City! From a snowy Bernie Sanders in Mittens in Rotary Park to young sculptures Cady Mae and Ransom's Warm Hugs on West Street, there will be no shortage of impressive snow artistry. We will be giving out prizes for the best classic snowman, best snow animal, and fan favorite.
To participate, view our interactive map here: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1EH3ZGvg7cgHK36HYjjXoqM1Z3XzW7PEt
While you're out enjoying the snow art, be sure to take photos and tag us for a share on social media: Facebook (@winooskirec), Twitter (@winooskivt), and Instagram (@winooskivt).
When you're done, help us name the "fan favorite" by voting for your favorite sculpture here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/snowart
Voting will close by 10 PM on Sunday so lace up your boots or hop in your car to enjoy this amazing experience!
