Hello neighbors!
Luke Concannon, an English singer-songwriter now living in Guilford, is releasing his new album, "Ecstatic Bird in the Burning," on Friday, February 5! Well known in England and Ireland as an independent folk artist (and widely known for having inspired the young Ed Sheeran) one might describes his music as "folk/hip-hop," deeply influenced by his Irish roots and passion for building a better world. This album dances between darkness and light, recognizing the multiple crises we're living through, balanced with songs full of compassion, honesty, and hope, and an invitation to "join the liberation."
On FRIDAY, at 3:00 PM EST, there will be a Virtual Launch Party (via Zoom and Facebook Live, links below), with live music from Luke and fellow English artist T8PES (aka Jimmy Davis), and conversation to follow with Alastair McIntosh, one of the world's leading environmental campaigners. You are so welcome to join in and celebrate the release of these songs!
