The Conservation Commission will offer a "learn to nordic ski for kids 10 and up" clinic this Sunday morning from 9:30- 11:30AM.
Meet with equipment, mask, and distance in the Westford Elementary School parking lot near the Brookside Rd kiosk.
If your child doesn't have equipment, the Westford Recreation Department may be able to lend out nordic boots, skis, and poles. Please get in touch by emailing recreation@westfordvt.us to find out if your child's size is available.
This clinic will focus on teaching classic technique to kids ages 10 and up. All skill levels are welcome. Families are still welcome to join and ski.
For the next few Sundays, we'll switch it up to focus on off-trail skiing with a backpack and night skiing with a headlamp. Stay tuned.
