The third in the League of Women Voters program series with Kellogg-Hubbard Library, Racial Disparity in Policing & Juvenile Justice will address the impact of racial disparity in policing and juvenile justice, including the role of the prosecuting attorney in our system and the issue of trust in law enforcement.

PANELISTS:
Dr. Stephanie Seguino, Professor of Economics at the University of Vermont and author of "Trends in racial Disparities in Vermont Traffic Stops, 2014-2019".

Rebecca Turner, Appellate Attorney and member of the Racial Disparities in the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Systems Advisory Panel.

Sarah George, Chittenden County State's Attorney and criminal justice reform leader.

Moderator: League member Anna Saxman . Anna is an adjunct professor at Vermont Law School (criminal procedure).Throughout her career she has been involved in efforts to address racial and ethnic disparity in the criminal justice system.
