Hailing from Pittsburg, Pa, Buffalo Rose exemplifies the way young musicians come to bluegrass from different musical disciplines. The six members have previous experience in genres as far flung as folk and punk, but joined together through a love of acoustic music. Bringing together mandolin, guitar, dobro, upright bass and close harmonies, Buffalo Rose takes you on a musical journey that is way beyond bluegrass.
