"Racial Disparity in Policing & Juvenile Justice" is the topic for this League of Women Voters program. Panelists will address the impact of racial disparity in policing and juvenile justice including role of the prosecuting attorney in our system and the issue of trust in law enforcement.
Moderator will be Anna Saxman and panelists include: Dr. Stephanie Seguino, Professor of Economics at UVM and author of "Trends in Racial Disparities in VT Traffic Stops, 2014-2019"; Rebecca Turner, Appellate Attorney and member of the Racial Disparities in the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Systems Advisory Panel and Sarah George, Chittenden County State's Attorney and criminal justice reform leader.
