On Wednesday, February 3 at 1:30, the Community Senior Center will host Dr. Teresa Mares, a professor of anthropology at UVM who wrote "Life on the Other Border: Farmworkers and Food Justice in Vermont." She will present her findings from more than 7 years of ethnographic research on food access amongst the Latinx farmworker community in Vermont. Learn about these laborers who play a vital role in feeding others while many face significant barriers in accessing food themselves.
