For anyone interested in the vital topic of human trafficking, the Wallingford Rotary Club invites you to a zoom presentation tomorrow morning at 11:00 hosted by the Rotary Club of Hout Bay in South Africa. Please use the zoom link at the bottom of the notice to join in.

Please join Rotary Club of Hout Bay via Zoom on 26 January @ 11:00 AM(Eastern USA) for a presentation by The Rotary Action Group Against Slavery and Human Trafficking
There are over 40 million enslaved people, according to Walk Free's Global Slavery Index. That's four times more than those taken out of Africa during the 400 years of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Modern slaves, however, are disposable, cheap, and being hidden from plain sight with no human rights. Very young children are now in greater danger than ever before as sex traffickers exploit opportunities arising from natural disasters, deprivation, civil conflict, and mass migration.
Simon John, Secretary of the Rotary Action Group Against Slavery (and Human Trafficking) will speak to Rotary Club of Hout Bay via Zoom from the UK on Tuesday 26 January at 18:00. (11:00 AM ET).
Simon will provide some background on the current crises of child slavery/human trafficking and share the actions that Rotary is taking to help protect children and adults from slavery and its consequences.
