On Thursday, January 28 at 7:00 pm, ANEW Place will be hosting the first of our monthly neighborhood Zoom discussions about the Champlain Inn. As you may know, ANEW Place reopened the inn in December as a low-barrier facility serving individuals experiencing homelessness. These monthly meetings will occur at 7:00 pm on the last Thursday of every month, and are designed for residents and businesses in the neighborhoods surrounding the facility.

Our intention in hosting these meetings is to provide a space for residents to bring their concerns, while learning about the purpose of the Champlain Inn. During our first meeting on January 28, we will begin with an overview of our organization and of the newly opened Champlain Inn - what is happening now and what goals we have for the near future. We will then open things up to the community to voice concerns and ask questions. We'll close by discussing opportunities for collaboration and partnership as neighbors. The meeting will wrap up by 8:30 pm at the latest.
