The Vermont Maple Festival in downtown Saint Albans is the place to be on April 25th – 27th, this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There’s something for families, kids, teens, seniors, and everyone in between. Lots of freebies – on Saturday, Kid’s Marionette Shows, the Big Blue Box and Facepainting. A Balloon Man, Frisbee Dog Shows and Chain Saw Art in the Park – Sugarhouse Tours, Syrup Tasting, an Exhibit Hall and demonstrations, Craft, Specialty Food and Antique Shows, and three days of Free Entertainment on the Main Street Stage. On Saturday, April 26th, Country Music sensation (and Vermonter) JAMIE LEE THURSTON will perform from 4:00 ‘til 6:00. For the Maple Barbecue on Saturday, the Fiddlers Show on Saturday, or the Youth Talent Show on Friday, you can purchase tickets at the Exhibit Hall. Fees also apply to pony rides, pancake breakfasts and the carnival, maple cotton candy, maple creemees, and sugar-on-snow. Of course the Grand Parade on Sunday is cost free, and spectacular!
