United Church of Benson is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday February 8th from 1PM – 5:30 PM at 2793 Stage Road, Benson. We ask that you schedule your appointment online so the number of persons waiting is held to a minimum.

Schedule an appointment at https://www.redcrossblood.org/ . You can reduce your time at the drive by using Rapid Pass within 24 hours of the drive to complete reading the pre-donation materials and answering the questions online.

There is no deferral time before donating blood if you have received either the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. You should bring the card you received when getting vaccinated. If you are vaccinated with a different vaccine you must wait two weeks to donate.

The Red Cross will do COVID-19 antibody testing for all donors. Please note, antibody testing is not to diagnose illness.

If February 8th does not work for you or you would like to donate sooner, please find another drive close by and schedule your appointment there. If you can't find the answer to a specific blood donation question, call 1-800 RED-CROSS. We hope to see you on the 8th.
