there will be a presentation by Circus Smirkus founder Rob Mermin on “What Makes Us Laugh: Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Laurel and Hardy, Harry Langdon, and Other Silent Film Clowns.” This will be an event the whole family can attend, and will include film clips and commentary about silent acting and pantomime.
