In mid-December, Ferrisburgh's Planning Commission held a public hearing for the revision of land use regulations (zoning by-laws and subdivision regulations) that volunteers have been working on for more than two years. Based on feedback heard at that hearing, the draft was revised and sent along to the Selectboard, in keeping with Vermont Statutes for town planning and zoning.

On January 18th at 6:30 (on Zoom), the Ferrisburgh Selectboard will host a second public hearing to review this final draft of Ferrisburgh's Land Use Regulations. You can read this draft on the town's website – ferrisburghvt.org. On the homepage, find Announcements. Click the link labeled "Notice of Public Hearing - Land Use Regulations...". On the resulting page are links to 1) a document that has the Zoom link and a summary of the revisions, and 2) the final draft of the land use regulations (with a revised draft zoning map on the last page).

This will be the last public hearing before the final draft is put up for public vote on Town Meeting Day.
