An information meeting about a proposed cell tower on Taft Road will be hosted by the Huntington Planning Commission, which will facilitate the discussion.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide information to the community and to answer questions about the project proposed for Taft Road. The Taft family has asked that the town provide an opportunity for residents and property owners to hear the details of the proposal and to be able to ask questions.
The meeting will be held on Monday, January 11 via Zoom. It will begin at 7:15 pm with William Dodge of Downs Rachlin Martin, who will give an overview of the project for approximately 15 minutes.
Dodge will be followed by Eric Guzman, Counsel, Vermont Department of Public Service. Guzman will give a 15-minute presentation about the role of the state in this process.
Interim Zoning Administrator Heidi Racht will give a short overview of the town's role in the permitting process and briefly cite the regulations regarding same.
After the presentations, HPC chair Adam Miller will field questions.
