Interested in what your school board members are thinking and planning?

The Community Engagement Committee of the Mill River Unified Union School Board is holding 4 meetings in the next 2 months to give townspeople an opportunity to meet with a few board members in a casual setting to discuss and answer questions. Since we are in the countdown to Town Meeting, there will be at least 1 member of the Finance Committee at each meeting to answer budget questions. But, please bring any topic you like. The caveat of course is that no decisions can be made at these meetings. Board members will listen and answer questions, if possible. The idea is to have two morning meetings and two evening meetings to see what works best for people. Starting in March we will likely move to a single monthly meeting with the time and day dependent on attendance at these upcoming meetings.

So how to attend?
Attendance will be capped at 2-3 board members and 8-10 from the community so that everyone can participate. Dates are as follows: 1/9/21 at 9:30am (this weekend!), 1/25/21 at 6/30pm, 2/6/21 at 9:30am, and 2/22/21 at 6:30pm. If you would like to attend, please email communityengagement@millriverschools.org and we will send you an invitation. If that session is full, we'll offer you an alternate time. Please only sign up for one of the sessions so that everyone can have a chance. For this school year, the meetings will be virtual. We certainly hope that next year we may begin to have meetings in person again.
