Exploring the Cosmos w/ Bobby from the Fairbanks

Past event
Jan 13, 2021, 4 to 5 PM

The Greensboro Free Library is offering an all ages, free science program called What's Up in the Sky Now? with Bobby Farlice-Rubio, Science Educator at the Fairbanks Museum in St. Johnsbury.

In this wide-ranging exploration of space, we'll start with what we can see with our eyes in this winter's skies: Constellations, Planets, and the Moon. Then, we'll move on to learn about the robotic missions and the gigantic telescopes, and see what they have shown us! Will we find signs of life on Mars this year? Hopefully, we will discuss the possibility of humans living on other planets someday, too! Questions from the audience are strongly encouraged!

Thank you to the Greensboro Association for helping to make this event possible.
