The Greensboro Free Library has arranged for you to "Skype A Scientist" from the comfort of your home! This all ages, free program will be with Wildlife Biologist Lorraine Ketzler. Lorraine is a Fish and Wildlife Biologist with the Department of Interior, US Fish and Wildlife Service. She is the USFWS Liaison for Hurlburt Field, a US Air Force Installation in Florida. The USFWS has a partnership with the US Air Force that allows them to work on bases, because Department of Defense lands have many endangered species, and the USFWS is the agency responsible for federally listed threatened and endangered species. Lorraine's main tasks are to restore habitat and monitor species for their recovery.
