Happy New Year from your Planning Commission!

Up for discussion at this week's PC mtg. is the re-opened public hearing for PC-20-171-BA, a proposed boundary adjustment for Jeffrey Price, on a leased lot at 137 Association Way. This hearing was continued from Nov. 5 to address some outstanding process and legal issues. The applicant seeks to extend the current boundary of his leased lot, in connection with a plan to demolish and replace an existing shed/garage.

Several items will also be discussed during a deliberative session. This part of the meeting is not open to the public.

The Selectboard has scheduled several public hearings on amendments to the Charlotte Land Use Regulations and Town Plan proposed by the Planning Commission in 2020. If approved by the Selectboard, these amendments will be brought to voters at Town Meeting. These virtual/online hearings are scheduled for January 8, Jan. 22 and Jan. 25. See the 'Meeting Calendar and Agendas' page of the town website for each meeting to find the full agenda and login details. For drafts of the proposed amendments, see the project page at the town website, at: http://bit.do/draft-LUR-updates. We encourage residents to learn more about these updates & participate in this process.

For more information, contact Larry Lewack, Town Planner at 425-3533 ext. 206.
