On January 4, Lyrical Dance and Ballet classes will begin at Moving Light Dance in Montpelier! I (Brandy Perez) will be teaching:

Ballet 4 at 4:00pm and Ballet 5 at 6:30 pm. These classes will focus on refining and strengthening ballet technique and alignment while working with more complex musicality. Working from a strong core, students will learn control of momentum to create graceful movement. Some pointe work will be offered.

Lyrical Dance at 5:30pm. With a focus on jazz dance, we will explore how our movement can express the meaning behind words in music and poetry. Be prepared to work on isolations and jazz combinations, speaking (& singing if you feel comfortable) while moving, and learning, creating, and implementing movements that tell stories.
