Attention Parents of High School Kids

This Friday there will be a unique opportunity for an acting workshop at The Art House on the Common. Actor and comedian Rusty DeWees will visit The Art House to teach kids how to deliver jokes and other written pieces in different ways to get a different response from the audience. Rusty doesn't usually do this kind of workshop, so this is something special that kids won't get at school. He is visiting as part of the after school program Caution: Wet Paint! Works of Art in Progress.

The workshop is completely free, students just need a ride home at 5:00. It is open to all high school aged students who are interested in acting, and mature middle schoolers. Anyone who just did a fabulous job in the 8th grade production of Annie Jr. should come! Right now we have plenty of spaces left, but I'd really like to fill them! If your kids would like to participate, you may reply to this post, or register on the website: http://www.vermontarthouse.com/Caution--Wet-Paint-.html

Peter Gould will visit for an acting workshop next, on May 9th at 3:00 pm. Put that one on your calendars, too!
