We'll read from the ESSENTIAL RUTH STONE, then a few of our own poems that reflect upon Ruth Stone's. Ending with a brief Q&A for your burning questions.

Gary Margolis is Emeritus Executive Director of College Mental Health Services and Associate Professor of English and American Literatures (part-time) at Middlebury College. He was a Robert Frost and Arthur Vining Davis Fellow and has taught at the University of Tennessee, Vermont, Bread Loaf, and Green Mountain Writers' Conferences.

Didi Jackson is the author of Moon Jar (Red Hen Press, 2020). Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, New England Review, Ploughshares, and elsewhere. After having lived most of her life in Florida, she currently lives in South Burlington, Vermont teaching creative writing at the University of Vermont.

Bianca Stone is a poet and visual artist. Her books include Someone Else's Wedding Vows (Tin House & Octopus Books 2014), The Mobius Strip Club of Grief (Tin House, 2018) and "A Little Called Pauline," a children's book of the Gertrude Stein poem (Penny Candy Books, 2020). Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, jubilat and Poetry Magazine.
