This holiday season brings to us perhaps feelings of sadness as our normal traditions will be put on hold until next year. Even in normal times, there can be sadness around Christmas as we remember our loved ones gone, our year's hopes not materialized, or the health of our loved ones insecure.

Because of these things, First United Methodist Church, corner of Buell St and South Winooski Ave, will be celebrating a short outdoor "Blue Christmas" service, (socially distanced and masked) on the church lawn on Monday, December 21st at 7:00pm. Please join your friends and neighbors as we acknowledge and give name to these feelings of sadness we all may experience at Christmas time. Please dress warm! Bob Purvee 863-2139
