Vergennes Lions Winter Talks

Are you interested in learning more about various inner workings of Vergennes? If so, the Vergennes Area Lions Club invites you to attend any of the public talks in our winter speaker series. Guest speakers will share their expertise and experiences gained while performing key roles in our community. Please join us to learn more about our great little city.

January 6 at 6:30 pm - Rich Chaput - Chief Operator - Vergennes Wastewater Plant. Rick will provide an overview of the wastewater system and how all the pieces fit together.
February 3 at 6:30 pm - Mike Dooley - Center Director - Northlands Job Corps. Mike will discuss what the Job Corps does and how they serve the community.
March 3 at 6:30 pm - Jim Larrow - Public Works Director. Jim will share stories from his career and things residents can do to assist the efficiency of our local road crews.

Each talk will last 30-45 minutes and will be followed by a Lions' Business meeting.
