Hi Friends.
Thank you to everyone who has been getting their holiday ferments from me these last few weeks. Have you had a chance to try the Gratitude Sauerkraut? Yum! It will continue to be available at its special price until the end of the year.
Still need that perfect kraut for the fermentation fanatic in your life? Welp, this weekend I'll be at the Capital City Farmers' Market in Montpelier on Saturday December 19th from 10-1. We'll be in our usual spot in the Tax Department parking lot at 133 State Street in Montpelier-- same side as, and just before you reach the Capital building if you are coming from the valley. A bunch of great vendors, including fellow Moretownians, Red Hen Bakery, will be in the lot to help you complete your holiday tables or gift selections. You can place a preorder with me using this google form until noon on Friday:

I'll have a good selection of inventory there as well to sell on the spot.
If Montpelier is not in your travels this weekend, preorder by Friday at noon and come by my professional kitchen for curbside pickup on Sunday, December 20th from 12-3. Use the same google form above, and I'll be in touch with you to confirm your order, arrange payment and share pickup protocols with you.
Finally, please consider supporting my retail partners this winter in order to encourage a strong and local food economy: Mehuron's Market, The Roots Farm Market, Mad River Taste Place, von Trapp Farmstead and LocalMaverickUS.com. In addition to providing us with outlets for basic foods and supplies, these businesses are ethical, locally owned and operated, and committed to partnering with local makers and food artisans.
Thank you neighbors, and be safe and well.
Your neighborhood fermentation fanatic,
