The Great Tree of Christmas Virtual Holiday Offering

Past event
Dec 19, 7:30 AM to 9 PM, Dec 21, 2020

You are invited to participate in this year's virtual offering of The Christmas Cycle with Williston resident and artist Victoria Fraser. Victoria has performed Christmas stories for live audiences for 39 years and this year she is offering the story in a video format online.

The Cycle is comprised of seven stories, one told each year close to the date on which it takes place. This year's story, The Great Tree of Christmas, will be offered online on Saturday, December 19 at 7:30pm EST with a Zoom gathering to follow in which attendees are invited to spend time together, share Christmas messages, and sing carols. Ticket sales for the December 19 performance will close on December 18 at 5 PM EST to support planning for the Zoom gathering.

A 48 hour on-demand option for viewing the video will also be available from Sunday, December 20 thruTuesday, December 21 to encompass the Winter Solstice.

First told in 1982, The Great Tree of Christmas focuses upon the way the evergreen Tree of Life came into our hearts and homes through the journey of St. Boniface and the Germanic tribes.

This is a 'key hole story'- a story in which one can see through to the ancestral layers that have gone before, and realize the great beauty we all stand upon during the darkest night of the year.

Victoria does not wish cost to be an obstacle, so tiered pricing is offered.
