Hi All,

The weather looks good for Saturdays Calais Scavenger Hunt. If you are looking for a covid safe, fun, family holiday event this is it! Pick up your starting envelope at Maple Corner Community Store any time between this Wednesday Dec 16 and and the start of the hunt on Saturday December 19. The envelope includes your first clue and instructions for the hunt.
I have tried to design the hunt to be challenging for long time residents but not so hard that newer Calais families/pods can have fun too!

While making your way around Calais searching for the next clue you will see your neighbors, but there is no need to gather or touch anything to do this hunt. Figuring out the clues is only part of the fun. The way to win a prize is to take a photo at clue locations and download the pictures to the Calais Scavenger hunt Facebook page. It will be fun to see everyones fun, silly pictures. A small way to connect with your neighbors this holiday season! Props for your photos ARE allowed.

I am hoping for some prize donations. Gift certificates, Homemade crafts, Baked Goods etc. More than 50 people so far plan to do the hunt.
