Looking ahead to the coming holiday celebrations of all cultures, and the joy these traditions can bring especially in these times of uncertainty. We have been thinking of a way to spread that joy in our community if people would like to join us.

On Christmas Eve we will be setting luminaries out along our front yard to wish our neighbors, and those who pass by, a simple wish for brighter days ahead and a reminder that it is the small things that shine most. 

Dig through that recycling as milk jugs, jars or even a paper bag with sand to secure a lit candle or twinkle lights is all that is needed. 

Even just one luminary will spread its light beyond its own boundaries.
