Your Emergency Management Planning Committee has completed a final draft of the updated Town of Chittenden Local Hazard Mitigation Plan. This plan is one part of the FEMA requirements that allow us to receive FEMA Public Assistance following natural disasters. Since the April 2019 rain event, we have been awarded over $450,000 for road damages.

There will be a public meeting on Monday, Dec. 14th at 5:30PM via Zoom to highlight the changes in this plan. This ZOOM link and a link to the draft plan will be posted on the Town webpage- chittendenvt.org.

This plan completes nearly six months of work and we look forward to moving to the implementation phase.
