At its upcoming meeting, the Essex Planning Commission will review several applications for development in your neighborhood.
First, Andrew Hood and Mansfield Industrial Associates, LLC have proposed to narrow part of a new private road to be named Boston Court, which will provide access to 4 previously approved new warehouse buildings totaling 33,860 square feet. The change requires a modification to the standard specifications for road design in order to fit within an existing easement.
The remaining two applications are by Towers Trust and Sally Fleury. One is to modify the boundaries between lots at 18 Towers Road and 108 Center Road (with the latter gaining 0.11 acres). The other proposal is to subdivide two new parcels: a 0.75 acre-lot for an existing barn to be converted to a single-unit home, and a 1.47 acre-lot for a new single-unit home. The boundary adjustment and minor subdivision will be reviewed together as a sketch plan, the first of two review stages for these applications.
