UVM medical student Ashleigh Peterson surveyed patients at a St. Alban's medical practice about their practices wearing facial coverings during the pandemic. She'll share with us what she learned about why people do or don't wear masks and why government mandates can help people who are on the fence on this issue.
Jack and Ann Lazor came to Vermont as part of the back-to-the-land movement, and they created Butterworks Farm in Westfield, selling milk, yogurt, grain, and more. They also mentored many young farmers interested in organic practices, and Jack was a pioneer in starting to bring back grain growning in Vermont. Jack died last Saturday after a 2013 cancer diagnosis. We'll remember him through his words as a guest on Relocalizing Vermont and recollections of a young mentee.
