What more can the town of Ryegate do to help mitigate our Climate Crisis?
- We have voted for a solar array to provide electricity for the town buildings.
- We have a town building weatherization budget.
- We have a great Recycling Center with Groton.
- We are a participating community in the Button Up Campaigns sponsored by Efficiency Vermont.

Do you think we can or should do more? Should we -
-Encourage forestry or agricultural practices that sequester carbon?
-Encourage houses with south facing roofs to put up solar panes?
-Encourage our representatives to pursue climate change legislation? Other ideas...
