16th Annual Stowe Wine & Food Classic

The Stowe Wine & Food Classic, an annual charity event to benefit Copley Hospital and the Vermont Foodbank will be held at Trapp Family Lodge from June 13-15, 2014.

FRIDAY, JUNE 13
Blues, Brews & Foodtruck Crews
6-9 PM I $10 per person entry fee I beer & food for purchase
Join us for this unique event where the areas best Gourmet Food Trucks offer tasty creations and a featured dish to be paired with a variety of Trapp Brews for purchase. Enjoy the soulful blues of the Dave Keller Band! Presented by Trapp Family Lodge.

SATURDAY, JUNE 14
Culinary Adventure: By Land and By Sea
12 NOON-1:30 PM I $60 per person
Join local James Beard Award winning food author Rowan Jacobsen for a wine tasting with a bi-coastal selection of oysters. Then enjoy local award-winning cheeses as we pair them with Produttori Del Barbaresco wines presented by President and Vintner Aldo Vacca.

Gala Dinner & Live Auction A Taste of Italy
6-11 PM I $165 per person
Enjoy a spectacular collaborative 5-course, Italian dinner featuring signature dishes from five of Vermonts most renowned chefs including Executive Chef Cody Vasek, Trapp Family Lodge; Executive Chef Dino Giordano, Lord Jeffrey Inn, Amherst MA; and Executive Chef Shawn Calley, The Essex, Essex VT. Each course will be paired with top Piemonte region wines courtesy of VIAS Imports. The evening will include a live auction and dancing with Joey Leones Chop Shop.

SUNDAY, JUNE 15
Grand Tasting Celebrating Fathers Day
12 NOON-4 PM I $60 per person ($20 children under 12)
Sample more than 100 premium wines, Vermont Craft Brews along with distinctive food selections from the regions top chefs. Enjoy Bluegrass tunes by the Starline Rhythm Boys. This event will be the perfect way to spend Fathers Day featuring kids activities at the Trapp Family Lodge Recreation Center.
