VSO's "Music for Days Like This" Concert Nov. 21

The Vermont Symphony Orchestra is kicking off it's new "Music for Days Like This" concert series this Saturday, 11/21 at 7:30pm.

The brainchild of VSO Creative Projects Chair Matt LaRocca, our newest project serves the present moment with streamed chamber ensemble performances, presented from a variety of traditional and unexpected venues around the state. Your VSO will premiere new works from composers of diverse styles and backgrounds, showcase beloved classics, and collaborate with esteemed creative partners from Vermont and beyond. In a performance season like no other, we're thrilled to share this music with you!

This concert will feature a string quintet and pianist and will be performed from Elley-Long Music Center in Colchester.

The program will premiere works from high school composers Alex Wick and Arianelle Arroyo, and include pieces by Schubert and Beethoven. Stay tuned for more program information!
