"The Black Presence at the Battle of Bennington" Virtual Program Presented by the Martha Canfield Library

Pownal resident and Vermont historian Phil Holland will be speaking about "The Black Presence at the Battle of Bennington" through a GoToMeeting link on Sunday, November 15 at 7:00 pm. Black soldiers fought in Col. Seth Warner's regiment of the Green Mountain Boys at the Battle, and one was among the thirty patriots killed in action. The talk is sponsored by the Martha Canfield Library, and the link to join the talk is on the Library's website: marthacanfieldlibrary.org.
