Next Wednesday (the 18th) the Vermont Green Building Network (VGBN) is hosting a special webinar event, "Local wood, local good: What Vermont offers and where to find it."
This educational event will begin with a summary presented by Paul Frederick of the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation on how wood impacts the Vermont economy and forests. Attendees will learn how wood flows throughout and beyond Vermont, and the trajectory and challenges ahead for our state's small sawmills. We'll then move to examples of 10-12 Vermont grown or sourced wood building products in recent projects across the state, before facilitating breakout discussions to hear about challenges products you seek/can't find and ideas for moving forward.
