MRVCares will host its second community education program on COVID-19 this Sunday, November 8th, from 8:00 to 9:00 pm. The program will be held on Zoom and broadcast on MRVTV channels 44/244. Members of MRVCares and invited guests will serve as panelists. The panelists will discuss:
Recent surge of COVID-19 cases in the state and New England
Experience in the schools and looking forward
Staying safe over the holidays and during the colder weather
Questions and topics suggested by Valley residents
The panelists want to address COVID-19 topics on the minds of area residents. If you have questions and topics you would like addressed, please send your suggestions to .
The panel will be moderated by Lauren Kaskey, public health professional, and will be comprised of: Karen Nelson, Public Health Nurse; Clayton S. Wetzel III, Waitsfield School Nurse; Dr. Catherine Mygatt Naden, physician; Liza Jernigan, Harwood Union High School senior; and Gavin Thomsen, Harwood Union High School senior.
