TOWN OF MORRISTOWN PROPERTY TAX NOTICE
FIRST INSTALLMENT TAXES DUE

Notice is hereby given to the property taxpayers of the Town of Morristown that the first installment of the 2020-21 property tax bill will be due in the Town Clerk's Office at 43 Portland Street, Morrisville by 4:00 P.M. on Monday, November 16, 2020 as voted by the Morristown voters at the 2020 Annual Town Meeting.

Payments are to be paid to the Town of Morristown. At the current time, the office is closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Payments may be left in the Morristown Municipal Office grey drop box located to the right hand side of the front of the building or mailed to PO Box 748 Morrisville, VT 05661. Payments may also be made online at: https://morristownvt.org/. The third party vendor will charge a convenience fee.

Only official U.S. Postal Service cancellation marks will be considered as timely postmarks. Post-dated checks will not be accepted and will be returned.

All property taxes not paid in full by 4:00 P.M. on November 16, 2020 will be considered late and interest charges of 1% per month will be added to the unpaid principal balance.
