Monkton's Fifth Annual Town Wide Yard Sale
Monkton Town-Wide Yard Sale – Green Up, Clean Up and Collect!
Monkton, VT – The Community Members of Monkton, VT have joined together once more to offer another Monkton Town-Wide, Yard Sale, on Saturday May 10th, from 8am-3pm at the Fire Station on 3747 State's Prison Hollow Road and throughout Monkton. New this year, the Monkton Cadette Girl Scout Troop will host the sale. The proceeds from this year's sale will go towards Girl Scout activities and events. A great way to support Girl Scouts, clean out some clutter and make some extra cash!
A limited amount of tables are available for $10 each at the Monkton Volunteer Fire Department (MVFD) inside and outside. Sign up early to reserve your spot! Set up will take place on Friday evening (May 9th) 6pm-8pm for those inside. Or 7am Saturday morning for those outside. Vendors need to be set up and ready to sell by 8am!
Monktonites that wish to host a yard sale at their home and be listed on the yard sale map can purchase a sign for $10. Signs will be available May 3rd at Monkton Fire House from 9:30am-11am. Only those that have signed up by May 3rd and paid for a sign will be included on the map.
In last year's town wide yard sale a number of vendors sold cheese boards, art calendars & prints, syrup, plants, yard sale items and crafts at the MVFD. We encourage more to sign up this year.
Breakfast, lunch and snack items are available for purchase at the Fire Department throughout the day.
Where can people find maps of where the yard sales are located? Yard salers can pick up a map detailing where sellers are located at the MVFD Saturday May 10th starting at 8am.
