Who Me? That is the common response The Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce receives when notifying a finalist for the Athena Leadership Award and Young Professional Leadership Award. The answer is YES YOU! These finalists are representative of Vermont's strengths in leadership and include your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. They are deserving of all the publicity we can give them, despite the need to host the awards ceremony virtually. The Athena group has put together an incredibly rich program, having adapted it from an in-person gala to an evening to remember on YouTube. That's right, you can see everything, engage in a meet and greet, and no one can see you so you don't even have to get dressed up! Snuggle up with your favorite snacks and your family to see what these professional women have achieved in business, community, and mentorship. A no cost Saturday evening event enjoyed while socially distancing, full of the best professionals and up and coming young professionals in the midst of a pandemic, is the equivalent of the Chamber bringing you the Oscar's, Grammy's, and People's Choice awards all in one.
