Hi neighbors,

Please join us for an open meeting on Thursday, November 19th at 7pm via Zoom regarding the East Calais General Store project.  The Board of the non-profit East Calais Community Trust (ECCT) will update the community on the status of the restoration project, answer questions and hear your suggestions. We will also talk about how you can get involved in this community project.

Thank you to all of you who filled out our survey -- we received a whopping 103 responses! The results make it clear that the community's top priority is to have a general store in the building once again (94% of responses) -- and this is what we are working toward. In the meantime, we are exploring short-term options like food trucks and other food to go, while we raise funds for the renovation and find a store operator. Thank you for your input and ongoing support.

We will follow up with those of you who offered to volunteer in the coming weeks. In the meantime please join us for this meeting if you can! Here's the zoom link and passcode:
